This listing is for a 1" leather buckle collar with solid brass hardware.
Made of thick, hand-dyed, premium quality cow leather with solid brass accent hardware, this collar is sturdy enough for even the toughest canines! Design has been thoroughly swim, tug, scratch, roll-in-mud tested on my spotted canine.
Please note - real leather can be rigid to begin with but will soften up greatly with use/wear. Proper oiling can aid in the break-in process and will also help to extend the life of the leather. One application of conditioning oil has already been applied to the collar to help soften and protect the leather, and instructions for care are included. All dyes & stains used are vegetable based, non-toxic.
The colour of the collar may vary slightly from the photos, as each leather hide is unique and will capture the dye differently. The colour will change over the life of the collar, especially if exposed to water. This is normal, and will add to the rugged look and feel of the leather. To preserve the true colour longer, remove the collar prior to swimming.
All metal hardware components carry a lifetime warranty. For safety purposes, supervision is always recommended when dogs are wearing collars.
